Overview
GEA Westphalia supplies centrifugal separators for thickening and dewatering sludge in municipal wastewater treatment. The wasteMaster Decanter is a continuously-operating centrifuge with a horizontal solid-wall bowl designed for use with thickened municipal waste. The frame of the centrifuge is open and the clarified fluid is discharged via gravity. The capacity of the decanters depends on the application which ranges from 10-300 m3/hr for thickening applications and 10-200 m3/hr for dewatering applications.
The wasteMaster is equipped with the patented Varipond which allows for variable pond depth dependent on the demand put on the machine. This maximizes efficiency, ensures stability of discharge and ensures that there is no passthrough of liquid to the solids side.
